It has various departments which are comprised of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic Communication Engineering, Electronic and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, B.Arch., Master of Computer Application, Master of Business Administration and Department of Science and Humanities & Supporting Engineering Department.
This college provides two different courses comprised of undergraduate course and post graduate course. All the courses that offered by the college are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education in New Delhi. In fact, the courses offered by the college follow regulations as well as curriculum which is been approved by Anna University. UG Courses in Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology and School of Architecture are provided for certain durations by this Meenakshi Engineering College. One can even pursue PG courses in M.C.A., M.B.A. and M.E. from this college.
Placements
Since students need a support system after completing their studies to get into the industry and to survive competently, Meenakshi College of Engineering provides placement services to its students. Every department of this college enjoys placement services through which they not only get opportunities to know experts in the field, but also build up their contacts further by accepting the challenge of the industry.
Alumni
Meenakshi Sundararajan Engineering College’s association is known as MCE Alumni Association. Total members in this association are 650 and every year, their annual general board meeting is held successfully where discussions and implementations are done for the betterment of the students. The Alumni members are invited to deliver regular lectures on career opportunities nationally and internationally and management aspect in industries. Also, they share a number of other knowledge to train the students perfectly.
The college also focuses on providing facilities to its students in sports, library, transport, hostel and canteen. With great career opportunities, the college empowers one by providing high level of education courses.
