My mother had an inoperative savings account with Darya Ganj New Delhi branch. She now lives in Shivalik Malviya Nagar, Delhi. She had a joint account with my father in your Malviya Nagar Delhi branch. My sister went to Darya Ganj branch to get the account closed and transferred to Malviya Nagar who asked her to bring my mother about 80 year old and unable to move. Darya Ganj staff suggested her to get a mail from Malviya Nagar branch, who refused to do so. She submitted a request to get account transferred at Malviya Nagar branch and credit to the joint account. Your Malviya Nagar Delhi branch officials refused to accept the pass book and requested to transfer outstanding balance of Darya Ganj branch inoperative account to this branch. Question was how they can refuse to get the application and forward to Darya Ganj Delhi branch . The officials at CBI Malviya Nagar be instructed to verify signatures from their record and forward application to Darya Ganj Delhi and collect and credit her joint savings account at Malviya Nagar delhi. All the requisite bank rules be followed but old age customer with oldest account number perhaps 92 or 94 on darya Ganj branch be not troubled. The Malviya Nagar branch officials otherwise had good relations. Please co-operate. Thank you.
