Command Hospital

This is the only military Hospital in Kolkata is located near the posh area of Alipur Road. This hospital is mainly for army staff and their family members where is rarely non-army staff are treated here. There are many well-known and famous army doctors and technicians available in this hospital.

I feel very bad experience for this hospital. Still this hospital is not like old days. Few years ago I felt very proud for this hospital and their behavior also. This hospital saved my dad's life also, but now I feel many people changed, they do not treat well. There is no coordination with staff and doctors. When my father went alone in this hospital, I felt proud and thought my father is in safe hospital but still I feel not. Sorry to say, I respect every doctor and staff but still something very bad happened in this hospital. Those who is an incharge in this hospital please improve the management system. Please do take some action Sir or Mam.

Is this even a hospital, where everything works only during working hours ..
If you are looking for a hospital for cough cold fever then this hospital serves the purpose.
If you have plans for surgery then please avoid this hospital.. as after working hours real work starts...
---There are no doctors.
---The MNS nurses are always on call.
---They closes the door of wards and sleep.
---The doctors are rude and thinks as if they are some military officer and not doctor.
--- There is no proper method for the help
--- The ward master thinks the job as a duty rather than responsibility.
--- There is no proper method of duty exchange
--- Everyone works only when the officer is around.

I come from Defence background, My dad was in Airforce and Brother in Army...

One of the best in Eastern Region.The way they can handle critical cases no one else can serve.

Had a great experience there. had my bariatric surgery there... Awesome facility and hats to the experienced doctors.. u can blindly trust on them without any doubts..

We the daughters of MR Shekhar Mukherjee are highly grateful to to the doctors who had taken a great care of our father and saved his life. Behavior of the Dr are good caring and helpful .

Very poor maternity ward, even MNS behavior with patient is inhuman. They care for people but they scold them and so no sympathy. Government pay them for that but they forget.

Worst work culture. All call having 7 different numbers remained unanswered. No way of getting any information.

Dr.Sengupta, the neurosurgeon is absolutely the worst and the most rigid, adamant and inefficient healthcare person I have dealt with. Despite telling him that physiotherapy has previously cured my ailment, he would not prescribe it and insisted on surgery. An absolute deaf ear to what the patient is saying about their pain, not open to discussion and feedback. Shame. I was hospitalized for 6 days without any treatment, only to take pain medication and an MRI. What nonsense, could have at least given me pain reducing IFT and/or Ultrasound physiotherapy (which I have previously responded to extremely well for the same ailment). Absolutely useless, the only thing he does is say good morning during his morning rounds but doesn`t even listen to what your status is for the day. Poser. He himself said that I need medication and physiotherapy to reduce the pain, then refuses to give physiotherapy, asks me to come back after a month for surgery.

Disciplined and well maintained hospital with almost all modern treatment facilities available... Best part is the absence of malpractices which is rampant elsewhere
